Beauty Big Bang Cuticle Protector Peel Off Tape

Hello lovelies!

I was recently approached by Beauty Big Bang to review some of their nail products and of course I said yes! The first thing I chose was this peel off tape. You may have noticed that I suck at water marbling. But with these cuticle protectors I thought, what the heck, I'm gonna give it another go!

I applied the cuticle protectors. They're very flexible, they fit around all nail shapes. I personally find them so much easier to work with than regular liquid latex; that stuff always takes me ages to dry and then it never comes off in one go. These protectors don't need any dry time and come off in one simple go. I love them!

So I started off with a white base and then took out some neons: HEMA Powerful Purple, Neon purple and orange, Mod Lacquer "Energize", W7 Fluorescent Pink and Broadway "Snow Queen".

I marbled away and was very grateful for the peel off tape:

When I took it off, there was hardly any cleanup left to do!

I had to redo the middle finger a couple of times and after I ran all out of tape, it was still not marbled well, so oh well... This is the result. Not the marble I was going for, but still nice and bright.

Have you ever tried this product? And what do you think of my messy marble mani? Lol ;)

  1. I'm guessing that the tape isn't reusable? Or would you say it was just too messy from the watermarble to be reused? I've been looking into these types of products for a while not but haven't pulled the trigger because the liquid style seems like a better bang for my buck.

    1. Both ;) No they're not reusable and that indeed makes it the more expensive option. But since I'm incredibly impatient, it is the better option for me ;)

  2. These do look like a good idea, although I quite like using liquid latex.

    1. If you like liquid latex then that is the less expensive option. However, if you're short on time, these are a godsent!

  3. First of all, I really like the manicure you did. Second, those work really well. I had looked at them but then assumed they would be stiff and wouldn't work well. But I was wrong! Thank you!

Ah yes, they appear that way, but they're incredibly flexible and easy to work with! You're welcome :)

  4. I honestly love this marble so much. I don't even know how you managed to get that cross shape you have on your ring finger!

  5. I've stayed away from such a product because it's not reusable but I agree it's faster than latex!
